Native Instruments launch Traktor Pro Plus

Native Instruments Traktor Pro Plus DJ software

Native Instruments have launched Traktor Pro Plus, a new add-on subscription for Traktor Pro 3. This new service will unlock a range of additional exclusive tools and effects from Soundwide, the umbrella brand that includes iZotope, Plugin Alliance and Brainworx. Traktor Pro 3 itself will remain available for purchase on a perpetual basis.

Starting this August, Traktor Pro Plus will see the introduction of iZotope’s Ozone Maximiser. Originally designed for studio use, Native Instruments say that the popular limiter software has now been integrated into a DJ-friendly interface.

The second new addition comes in the form of the Pattern Player, a custom percussion loop maker that enables DJs to layer rhythmic samples to enrich their mixes during breakdowns or transitions. The tool has been optimised for live use, and can be controlled with the FX section of many Traktor performance controllers, including the S4MK3, and X1.

More exclusive features will be added to Traktor Pro Plus on a quarterly basis, as well as maintenance updates that will be available to the entire user base, meaning that non-subscribers will also benefit from regular free compatibility updates and bug fixes. Users that pause or cancel their subscription will simply revert back to the Tracktor Pro 3 feature set, whilst their settings and mappings will be saved, becoming available again upon reactivation of a Pro Plus subscription.

Availability

Traktor Pro Plus is available now from the Native Instruments online shop. Subscriptions will cost $4.99£4.49 including VAT / €4.99 per month, or $49£44 including VAT / €49 per year. Yearly subscriptions are currently being offered at a 50% discount until 1 September 2022.
