Jiaoying Summers and Fumi Abe on Comedy Scenes and Delicious Looking Inedible Objects: Podcast

Listen via: Apple Podcasts | Spotify | Amazon Music | More Platforms

Third time’s the blindfolded charm! Long Time No See: The Podcast is back with its illustrious, fabulous, gut-busting third episode. This time, comics Jiaoying Summers (the first Chinese comic to headline The Apollo) and Fumi Abe (The Tonight Show and The Late Show) discuss everything from coastal comedy scenes to inedible objects they wish they could snack on. Listen to their musings above or wherever you get your podcasts. You can also watch the complete episode below.

Summers is one of the most courageously fresh voices in comedy. She embodies the Asian-American perspective through her work with uncensored, unapologetic comedic stylings. Abe, for his part, is a Japanese-American stand-up comedian and writer based in Los Angeles who was named one of Vulture’s Comedians You Should and Will Know in 2023. Together, they’re a comedic pair to be reckoned with.

An offshoot of the Long Time No See Comedy live show, Long Time No See puts two blindfolded comedians in Los Angeles’ Gold-Diggers with no idea whom they’re sitting across from. It’s only once they remove their eye covers that they see if their co-guest is someone they know, admire, or have even heard of. Make sure to follow Long Time No See wherever you get your podcasts, and give us a review on Apple Music if you enjoy the show.

Long Time No See: The Podcast is presented by Consequence Podcast Network and Gold-Diggers.
