Elton John Hospitalized After Falling at Home
Elton John was hospitalized over the weekend after falling at his home in Nice, France, a representative for the musician confirmed to TMZ.
The nature of John’s injuries were not disclosed, however the 76-year-old musician did require an overnight stay at the hospital. John’s representative described his hospitalization as a “precautionary measure,” and said, “Following checkups, he was immediately discharged this morning and is now back at home and in good health.”
John recently concluded his multi-year “Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour,” which included a headlining performance at Glastonbury this past June.
Earlier this month, John dined with embattled actor Kevin Spacey after testifying at his sexual assault trial in the UK.
