Seth Rogen Calls Oppenheimer “An Ideal Edible Scenario”

Well, the reviews are in: Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer is a certified fresh look at one man’s moral quandary, and an epic depiction of one of the most consequential creations in human history. More importantly, however, it’s an “ideal edible scenario,” as far as Seth Rogen is concerned.

Rogen got into the nitty gritty of when he pops an edible rather than smoking weed in a recent interview with Vanity Fair. Despite being a hugely famous stoner, the actor revealed that he normally only uses edibles sparingly due to their unpredictable quality.

“I fuck with edibles a little bit. But I would do it sparingly, I would say, and generally only if I’m in a situation where it seems like I have to go a long amount of time without smoking,” Rogen said. “Like, Oppenheimer seems like an ideal edible scenario, if you ask me.”

Even Snoop Dogg agrees, apparently. “He also does not eat a lot of edibles,” Rogen said, “and I asked him why, and he said, ‘Seth, edibles got no off switch.’ And I thought, Great point.”

So there you have it! According to the weed gods, you might consider only ingesting an edible before going into a three hour movie — that way you have time to start getting scared just as the atomic bomb detonates.
