Rhodes have announced that they will soon be taking orders for the Rhodes MK8/75AE. This limited edition version of their latest piano will now be seeing a production run of 75 instruments due to unprecedented demand for the prototype exhibited at this year’s Superbooth and NAMM shows.

Building on the critically acclaimed design of the modern classic Rhodes MK8, this strictly limited edition ships with analogue effects as standard and adds some premium design touches in the form of a blacked-out keybed and gold accented details.

Rhodes say they will open their digital order book for the MK8/75AE at 21:00 BST16:00 ET on 15 September 2022. The order book will remain open for two weeks, but will close early should all 75 pianos be sold.

Pricing

The MK8/75AE is priced at $13,495 and will be sold on a strictly first-come, first-served basis. A 50% deposit will be required to secure an order, with the remaining balance to be cleared once the piano is complete.
