PreSonus AudioBox GO launched

PreSonus AudioBox GO

PreSonus have just released a new hyper-portable audio interface. The AudioBox GO is a bus-powered, class-compliant USB audio interface. It sports two inputs, the first fitted with a mic/line preamp capable of delivering phantom power to capacitor microphones, and the second accessed via a high-impedance quarter-inch jack socket and intended for use with guitars and the like. On the output side, it sports a stereo pair of jack sockets for hooking up to monitors, and a mirrored front-panel headphone output, with its own independent level control. Connection to computers is made via a rear-panel USB-C port.

PreSonus are billing the AudioBox GO as the ideal way to get started with recording, to which end they’re bundling a copy of their Studio One Prime DAW with every AudioBox GO sold, as well as providing access to their Studio Magic software suite. The latter includes a huge array of plug-ins, including some from household names such as Lexicon and SPL, as well as sound libraries, tutorials, virtual instruments and more.

The AudioBox GO is available now, and priced enticingly at $79.95. Check out PreSonus’ introductory video below for more info.
