Mark Tremonti is best known as the guitarist for Alter Bridge and Creed, but he’s also proven himself to be quite the crooner.

The veteran rocker is set to release a collection of holiday and Christmas standards titled Christmas Classics New & Old on October 27th, and he’s now shared the opening track, a rendition of “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year.”

Tremonti sings a graceful version of the ubiquitous holiday-season anthem alongside a jovial horn section, proving why he has become a renowned Frank Sinatra interpreter in his downtime from Alter Bridge.

Last year’s covers album, Mark Tremonti Sings Frank Sinatra, received acclaim for its faithful and accomplished renderings of Sinatra staples and even led to a series of “Tremonti Sings Sinatra” concerts, including three that are set for January 2024: January 5th (Atlantic City, New Jersey); January 6th (Red Bank, New Jersey); and January 13th (Beverly Hills, California).

A Live Nation ticket pre-sale for the New Jersey dates begin Thursday (September 28th) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster using the code STUDIO. General ticket sales start Friday (September 29th) at 10 a.m. local time. Regarding the upcoming Christmas album, Tremonti said that he hopes the covers “put a smile on your face, make you feel good, and get you into the Christmas spirit.” You can pre-order the collection on vinyl here.

Tremonti recently wrapped up a tour with Alter Bridge, and is set to reunite with Creed on a pair of cruises in 2024. The gigs will mark the band’s first performances in more than a decade.
