How to lock in a year of Disney Plus for $80 before the ad-free price increases in December

Disney Plus subscribers have, until this point, been able to enjoy the service without commercial breaks for $8 a month or $80 per year. Starting December 8, however, the service is raising its ad-free price and introducing a new ad-supported option.
Here’s how the pricing will shake out:
- Ad-supported Disney Plus: $8 a month
- Ad-free Disney Plus: $11 a month or $110 a year
That said, there’s still time to secure a full year of ad-free Disney Plus at the current, cheaper rate. And you can even grab an annual plan as a gift to give this holiday season.
How to lock in a year of ad-free Disney Plus for $80
New and existing monthly subscribers can still lock in an entire year of ad-free Disney Plus for $80, despite the upcoming price increase. All you need to do is purchase a Disney Plus annual plan before December 8.
This will grandfather you into 12 months of ad-free streaming for an up-front fee of $80, which is equal to about $6.66 a month. That’s a savings of 39% versus a full year of service under the new $11/month rate coming in December.
New members can simply head to the Disney Plus website to sign up, while existing monthly subscribers can switch to an annual plan by visiting their account settings on the website or app.
If you don’t buy an annual plan before December 8, new and existing subscribers will need to pay $11 a month or $110 a year for ad-free Disney Plus.

You can also still buy Disney Plus as a gift for $80
A Disney Plus annual plan is also available to buy as a gift, so you can still lock in the lower $80 price as long as you purchase a gift subscription before December 8. Gift subscriptions are only redeemable by new members.
