Flock Audio update Patch App
Flock Audio, makers of the innovative computer-controlled Patch series of patchbays, have released a major update to the control app. Patch App 3.0 incorporates a number of user interface enhancements, including drag-and-drop functionality, a single-click routing recall system, the ability to add custom names to signal routing schemes, a new ‘mute all’ function, and the ability to set up a default ‘launch state’ when the app is opened. Patch App also now lets you configure up to 10 Patch units from a single instance.
Further adding to its usability, Flock have added keyboard shortcuts to some of the more common actions (for example, Enter and Esc let you open and close menus without using the mouse), and they’ve also darkened the GUI and refreshed the look of the buttons and routing indicator graphics.
Finally, Patch App 3.0 adds compatibility with Flock Audio’s upcoming flagship unit, the Patch XT.
